Demonic infestation has become an epidemic, undoubtedly due to human curiosity in the paranormal. It’s time someone stepped up and put the demons back where they belong. I have an edgy paranormal romance set in the Midwest traveling the muddy Mississippi river, entitle KROSSROADS. It’s a third person narration of Karsten Kross, the handsome virginal ex- priest turned rouge exorcist and Bree, a spirited and beautiful investigator for Styx Paranormal Investigations (S.P.I.)
Karsten may have lost the church but not his faith. His unnatural ability to control even the highest echelon of demons wasn’t considered and asset to the church, but it was to humanity and that’s why he had to leave. A descendant of Solomon, he is able to find the possessed and expel the demons back to the hell they were born. Content with his calling, he wasn’t looking for a partner, he didn’t want to need her, but she was there and the connection between them unlike any he’d ever imagined.
Bree was determined to find and destroy the evil that tormented her family and killed her brother. New to S.P.I. she hadn’t discovered their lack of compassion and desire for money and fanfare. Without warning, without invitation, Karsten Kross appears and expels the one thing she wanted.

Louis Morton, Carmen’s best friend since childhood, had the world before him. With the smarts and money to afford any school he wanted, only greatness was expected of Louis. However, right after graduation Louis announces that he doesn’t intend to go to college at all, instead he’s enrolled himself at the seminary to train to become a priest. Carmen is shocked by Louis’s verbal curve ball, and Louis’s family is outraged. Soon Louis finds himself on the brink of being disowned and more confused than ever.
Carmen, meanwhile, grows more depressed with every pop of a pill and every seizure she has no hope to predicts or control; Carmen decides running away from her sucky existence and the test results that may spell “brain-tumor” is the only solution left.
