MMDEx8x150I’m happy to announce the winners for the Maggie Mae book party I had last week, as well as the winner of Stress Fracture AND a couple of more opportunities. SO keep reading to find out the news. . .

Three e-books were given out during the party, for answering trivia questions on Facebook and sharing cookie recipes on my blog. The winners were: Cathy C. Hall, Renee Roberson, and Sue Fritz! Let me know if you did not receive your email with your ebook.

Now here are the prize announcements–just revealed:

$5.00 gift card to Amazon or Barnes and Noble (2 prizes): Cathy Hall and Debbie Manber Kupfer

Maggie Mae Detective Notebooks: Rose Thoman and Samantha Miles

Picture book critique: Penelope Anne Cole

Name a character in a Maggie Mae sequel: Frances Brown

THANK YOU SO MUCH to each of you for supporting Maggie Mae! I will be in contact with you about your prize.

Last week, we had a guest post from Tara Meissner about being a writer and a giveaway to win her memoir: STRESS FRACTURE: A MEMOIR OF PSYCHOSIS. The winner is Yun-A Kwak. Thank you for stopping by!

On the Lit Ladies, we still have one more opportunity to win a book. First read the awesome post that Sydney Avey wrote about whether or not to write a sequel for your book. Then you can win her book, The Lyre and the Lambs, which is a Christian fiction book about the Sixties. Modernity and tradition clash as two newlywed couples set up house together. Dee and her daughter Valerie move with their husbands into a modern glass house Valerie built in a proudly rural Los Altos, California neighborhood. When their young relatives start showing up and moving in, the neighbors get suspicious. Then a body is found in the backyard and the life they are trying to build comes undone.

Father Mike is back to guide Dee through a difficult time with humor and grace, even as his own life is unraveling. Now he’s going to have to take some of his own advice about love.

The Lyre and the Lambs explores the passions that draw people together and the faith it takes to overcome trauma. GO HERE TO WIN!

I still have the sale prices up for Maggie Mae, Detective Extraordinaire: The Case of the Missing Cookies. You can go to this link and scroll to the middle of the post to order autographed copies from me!

Thanks and as always, if you have a copy of Maggie Mae, and you enjoyed it, please consider leaving a review on Amazon, Goodreads and/or Barnes and Noble. Reviews really do matter. :)
